PALLET RACKING INSPECTION TRAINING

Racking and shelving inspections are MANDATORY under the Provision and Use of work equipment regulations 1998. So regular inspections and corrective maintenance must be carried out. It is therefore recommended that staff be correctly trained to carry out their allocated tasks.

Remember:
Existing installations must be inspected at regular intervals.
New installations must be inspected before being put into use/
Re-sited systems must be inspected before handover.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING COURSE?

Operations Managers, Line Managers, Supervisors, Owner Managers, Inspection and Maintenance Personnel.

WHAT DOES IT COVER?

Identification of components, accidents and legislation, inspection records, alterations and load notices, rack protection, truck and pallet clearances, quality of pallets, practical exercise, video and questionnaire.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Total duration is 5 hours with a break for a buffet lunch. At the end of the course you will be assessed from the questionnaire and awarded an attendance certificate on attaining a minimum score of 60%.
