COURSES This exercise aims to illustrate Lean Thinking concepts in a way that involves delegates, not only in learning through participation, but as an integral part of the Lean Process. The programme, developed from the "Buckingham Lean Exercise" by John Bicheno, has been extensively used and tested in industrial training settings. Several points distinguish this exercise from others:-
Our aim is that participants will be stimulated into making changes to their own process. WHO SHOULD TAKE PART?The exercise is aimed at anyone who is, or will be, involved in Continuous Improvement or Lean activities within the workplace. HOW DOES IT WORK? The programme consists of between 3-5 basic exercises of approximately 20 minutes each. The exercises are participative and interactive, with opportunities for discussion at all stages. After and during each exercise, various measures are made. Participants must then decide on any changes which should be made, and which would be most beneficial. WHAT DOES IT COST? Call 01724 279499 or click below for costs, courses can be attended individually or can be arranged at your premises. This includes a buffet lunch and course notes. The programme requires a minimum of 11 participants to run, although these may be from a number of different client companies. Costs are based upon courses being held at a location organised by BDG North. The programme could also be carried out at your premises, if required, costs to be negotiated.
